From national regulations to European sustainability goals, the industry continuously meets new requirements to efficient use and reuse of resources in construction, promoting renovation of the poorest performing buildings, and improving the occupant well-being.

The position is oriented towards research and teaching within the domains covered by the division of Architectural Engineering. This includes different aspects of sustainability related to both design, construction and operation of buildings. This could for example be management of the processes and requirements related to the renovation of existing buildings and methods to ensure a high-quality indoor environment and improved energy performance of our future buildings.
