Postdoc Position in Teaching AI green coding, Aalborg University (2024-224-06130)
Job description
Green coding is a set of software development practices used to create programs that consume as little energy as possible. Unfortunately, green coding practices are not in widespread use since they are not well understood, and they are cumbersome and time consuming to apply. The key question in this project is: Can generative AI be taught to develop green code?
If the answer to this question is positive, generative AI may help reduce the energy consumption from ICT significantly(up to 50%) and the results may even be used to reduce the energy consumed by generative AI significantly.
