Job description
The position requires research qualifications at Professor level within the vestibular area. The position will primarily focus on clinical and experimental research in treatment methods for vestibular disorders.
Assignments will primarily include:
- Supervising PhD projects in audiology and vestibular research.
- Collaborating on research projects in vestibular function and rehabilitation.

Qualification requirements:
The suitable applicant can demonstrate a documented high level of original scientific production at an international level, including proven further development of in physiology and physics of the vestibular system. An assessment of the candidate’s undertaking of research management and/or other possible management functions will also be considered. In addition, the applicant is expected to have the qualifications required for undertaking supervising responsibilities. Special contributions to and development of educational and teaching related areas will be considered in the overall assessment.

Assessment
The assessment of applicants for the position will be carried out by an assessment committee.
Shortlisting will be applied. After the review of any objections regarding the assessment committee, the head of department, with assistance from the chair of the assessment committee, selects the candidates to be assessed. All applicants will be informed as to whether they will advance to assessment or not.
Applicants who are selected for assessment will have the opportunity to comment on their assessment.
When the hiring process is completed, a final rejection will be sent to the applicants who are not considered for the position.
